Corporate Facilities
InfoSpherix has two facilities in Cumberland, Maryland, and Carmel, Indiana, where it hosts the centralized reservation service and contact center programs it operates on behalf of its clients. These facilities are interconnected on a robust communications and data processing infrastructure that allows us to operate hosted service software applications and databases, call centers, and websites in both dedicated and shared environments with full security, overflow, and disaster recovery capabilities.

Call Centers: Both InfoSpherix facilities have fully functional call centers with advanced telephony and contact management equipment from Nortel and Genesys to manage high call volumes with both live agents and IVR service. With about 700 seats between them and the ability to easily integrate other call centers or at-home agents, InfoSpherix can handle most phone, web-chat, email, or other customer contact projects. Our facilities are laid out to maximize call center efficiencies and create pleasing and productive work environments for agents. Call volumes can easily be shifted between the two facilities on a site-by-site or project-by-project basis.

Data Centers: Both InfoSpherix facilities have secure, robust, scalable data centers for hosting the software applications, databases, and websites that we design and operate on behalf of our clients. Using RAID servers, load-balancing, network attached storage, cross-facility data backup links, offsite storage, firewalls, an onsite technical staff, and ITIL-compliant methodologies, we ensure the highest levels of business continuity and data integrity for each and every clients project. The data centers are climate controlled and have their own physical security measures in addition to security provided for the rest of the facilities.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Both sites have diesel-powered emergency electrical generators that can handle the entire load of the hosting facility for a virtually unlimited amount of time during blackouts. Both sites also have uninterruptible power supply units for all computers and the PBX unit that will sustain operations during the short amount of time it takes for the backup generators to automatically switch on. Mirrored hosting infrastructures and dedicated broadband communication links between the two sites allow for using each site as a hot backup for the other.
